Sneak preview of some new Author stuff. Zack and I worked on this in our spare time the last couple of days.
Guitars were recorded with a Sennheiser e609 on a Mesa Dual Rectifier, with a 2x12 Avatar cab holding two Celestion g12-75’s
Kick drum recorded with a no name audio technica kick drum mic, pointed from the soundhole on the lower right of the drum, toward the beater.
Snare was recorded on top with a Shure SM57
Floor tom was recorded with a Sennheiser e609
Overheads were recorded with two Samson CO2’s, recorderman style.
